Helen Hayes has bought a fresh breath of air into our team in 2020.

Helen is our leader for the Tugun events running her own team of volunteers. Her co-ordinating expertise & health & wellness background is invaluable, enabling us to offer more of our fabulous events & growing our reach to the South Gold Coast community.

A word from Helen

”A personal search for understanding the effects our thoughts & emotions can have on our health & wellbeing, led me to take up yoga in 2014.  For optimum health, I came to learn that we require balance & harmony not only from a physical & nutritional perspective but from an emotional & spiritual perspective also.

My search led me to discover a passion for  the body’s emotional anatomy & energy centres & how an imbalance in these fields can impact our physical body, resulting &/or contributing at times to illness, dis-ease & even physical pain. This passion has resulted in my undertaking of studies in Ayurveda, Reiki, yogalates, crystal healing & yin yoga.

I love the restorative, gentle practice of Yin yoga for stretching & relaxation & I like to incorporate the knowledge of the body’s meridians & chakras in my classes, to restore balance & harmony within the mind & body.

One of my favourite pastimes is to travel  to exotic locations like India & Bali or even within Australia to yoga & wellness retreats.

My goal is to continue following my passion to further understand  the emotional anatomy & energy centres & to incorporate this in a program combined with the physical attributes of Pilates & Yoga to promote & teach how to live in a balanced & harmonious state of health & wellbeing.“
