Educate and empower yourself to prevent suicide.

This half-day workshop is designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills and confidence to support someone who may be experiencing distress or suicidal thoughts.

This workshop supports communities to better understand and respond to suicide risk among international students. It focuses on connection, cultural understanding, and practical ways to offer support when it鈥檚 needed most.

Effective interventions can make a real difference and save lives. These life-saving conversations offer support and a safe space for open discussions while encouraging help seeking.

Delivered by accredited facilitators, the training is based on current research and aligns with Mindframe guidelines for safe communication.

Open to all community members (18 years of age and over), including individuals, peers, educators, student support staff, volunteers, organisations who support international students, and anyone wanting to gain additional skills to engage in conversation with someone in distress.
