Welcome to the Reginald Murphy Community Centre open day! Join us for a day filled with fun activities, tours, and more at our community centre. Explore our facilities, meet our staff, and learn about the programs we offer. Whether you're a long-time resident or new to the area, this event is a great opportunity to connect with your community. Bring your friends and family along for a day of excitement and discovery. We can't wait to see you there!

Come and explore the . Learn about our fantastic range of programs and services, and even try out a gentle exercise class and some singing!

We’ve got an action-packed program of taster classes, a mental health art therapy workshop and a sausage sizzle!

Our friendly team will show you around the centre and provide information about our classes, self-serve computers and other services.

Bookings recommended for each activity.

Programs:

• 10am to 12pm: acting class taste tester in Small Room
• 11:30am to 1:30pm: art therapy workshop with Mary-Helen
• 12pm: Acknowledgement of Country/ Official Ceremony of Open Day
• 12.15pm to 12.30pm: live music with Jay Dahzen
• 12:15pm to 1pm: Living Longer Living Stronger 50-minute exercise class
• 12:30pm to 1pm: singing group performance
• 1pm to 3pm: singing class workshop in small room area

Other activities on the day:

• 10am to 2pm: pop-up waste education stall - learn from our waste avoidance experts about free and like blister packs, polystyrene, x-rays, CDs and paint.
• 12:30pm to 2pm: table tennis, snooker, cards, kids books and toys

The City of Sydney's is open Monday to Friday, 9:30am until 3:30pm. There are a table tennis and snooker table, computers, wifi, books to borrow, a piano to play and sewing machines to use, and tea and coffee, all for free. Everyone is welcome!
