<h2>WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT - WE'VE OPENED JUST 50 MORE FINAL SPOTS!!</h2><p><br></p><p>My name is Mark and I'm the founder of One Life Live It, a company focused on helping people break out of negative mindsets and limiting behaviours, often associated with anxiety and depression and ultimately preventing us from living a life by 'design' rather than by 'accident'.</p><p>While we offer coaching and 'Mindset Bootcamps' we use cold water exposure and breathing amongst other modalities to shift states and reap the mental and physical benefits.</p><p>Specifically, the 'ice' provides many significant and powerful physiological and mental benefits.</p><p>So, to further raise awareness of the issues surrounding mental health, the benefits of cold water exposure and to raise money for <a href="https://www.beyondblue.org.au/" title="https://www.beyondblue.org.au/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Beyond Blue</a>*, we are staging the</p><p><br></p><h3>WORLD'S FIRST EVER, BIGGEST, GROUP ICE BATH ATTEMPT!</h3><p><br></p><h3>The attempt is on Saturday 20th January 2024, at Leighton Beach in Perth, Western Australia.</h3><p><br></p><h3>For the record, we need to get 250 people (we already have over 500 registered, so are now aiming for 550!), simultaneously into the water/ice (we will be using over 40 inflatable pools set up on the beach), which will be around 6oC, submerged up to their necks, for 3 minutes.</h3><p><br></p><p>The event is not-for-profit, with all proceeds after the cost of staging the event, going to Beyond Blue. Participation is by a $20 'donation'.</p><p><br></p><h3>As a participant, we will email all of the details for the day, the waiver that must be signed (online form) and everything else you need to know for the day. Please make sure you're at Leighton Beach / infront of the Orange Box cafe to confirm your registration and recieve your participant wrist band - the registration desks will be open from 8.00am - 10.00am.<br></h3><h3>It's essential you register otherwise we cannot let you into the ice bath. This is a prerequisite from Guinness as part of their adjudication process.</h3><p><br></p><p>Free yoga and breathwork will be on from 8.30am and there will be an 11.00am briefing, introduction, opening of the attempt by the Mayor of Fremantle and a 'special' surprise!</p><p>We aim to go through to the beach and into the ice baths at 12.00noon, followed by a 'tribute' to Wim Hof with the warm up and then a mass ocean dip!<br></p><p><br></p><p><em><strong><strong>PLEASE...PLEASE...we highly, highly recommend everyone who is participating, tries at least one ice bath/cold plunge before the event. It's not uncommon for people to struggle the first time in an ice bath and we want to get as many people involved as possible; the record does require everyone to be submerged UP TO THEIR NECK (ie.
