Managing psychosocial risk is not just the law - it's good for your people and it's good for business.

In this session, we break down the terminology and take a practical lens to understanding your obligations and what you can do within your business today to better manage risk and invest in the wellbeing of your organisation.

We will look at some of the recent data around the mental health of Australian鈥檚, as well as an overview of important documents such as the Code of Practice for Managing Psychosocial Hazards in the Workplace and the Blueprint for Mentally Healthy Workplaces.

Following this session, you'll understand why it's important for your business and you'll be armed with resources to make meaningful progress.


NSW Workers Compensation Reforms Explained - presented by Crystal Fitzgibbon, Head of Policy - icare

The goal of the reforms is to ensure the sustainability of NSW Scheme, affordability for NSW employers and care and support for workers through a number of changes.

During the session Crystal Fitzgibbon (icare Head of Policy) will join Kristin Harrigan (icare Mobile Engagement Team) to take you through the changes at a high level.

This will include;

  • New eligibility requirements for primary psychological injuries
  • Changes to the duration of weekly payments for primary psychological injuries
  • Whole Person Impairment assessment updates
  • Changes to employer excess
  • Other updates


You will also hear about the proposed timings and implementation of the reforms, as they stand at current day.


Registration for this event is for icare Policy Holders, Brokers and registered scheme providers/stakeholders.


This event (Workers Compensation Reforms) is free to attend and offers Brokers .75 NIBA CPD point.
