Looking for fun things to do in Brisbane? Learn hand building techniques at this interactive clay and sip art class with Wesley Taylor Art Studios!

These hands-on classes are located in a fantastic city venue in Myer Centre, with easy parking if required. They are run on Saturday nights with BYO drinks for a 5 pm start.

Over two hours, you will work with air-drying clay to create a beautiful flower-shaped candle holder that you can take home and display with pride! We will also make an amazing rose piece, which is very popular, then with the remaining clay make a piece of your own creation.

All the materials for your unique pottery piece will be supplied and at the end of the class, you will return home with your own self-made masterpiece.

We will be working with air drying clay which means you can take it home and let it dry and after around 24 to 48 hours you can paint your creations yourself later however you feel with watercolours, acrylics or poster paints. You could even paint resin over it to make it waterproof!

This is a great idea for friends, couples, date night, hens parties, work parties, team building activities, birthdays or just to come and experience something new.

You will be able to craft something beautiful to take home and display proudly and enjoy a few glasses of your favourite beverage too!

Covid Safe Plan: Social spacing in place. Aprons will no longer be provided, however available for purchase in advance.

Knowledge required: Beginner-friendly. No prior art skills are needed, you can come to learn, have fun, connect, chat and sip!
